Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) has learnt the horrifying truth about wife Nicola’s (Laura Doddington) past.
As fans of the BBC soap know, it was recently revealed that Nicola killed their eldest son Harry’s (Elijah Holloway) ex-girlfriend Shireen, who has been missing for the last four years.
Nicola’s killer secret has been on the brink of collapse in the last few weeks, as Teddy agreed a deal to redevelop a derelict industrial park in Dartford.
This isn’t just any piece of land – it’s where the body is buried.
She desperately tried to stop him, to no avail, and was forced to take desperate measures.
Nic ordered associate Benji (Carl Prekopp) – who helped to dispose of Shireen – to her bar and told him that the time had come for them to disturb her grave and move the body somewhere else.
To her surprise, he told her that it wasn’t his problem. As insurance, he’d placed Nic’s diamond bracelet with the body and if it’s found, the murder will be traced back to her.
She threatened to take Benji down with her, but he said there would be no sign that he was ever there.
Later, she cornered Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and asked him to do a job for her, though he had no idea of what it would entail.
He turned down the proposition, but in tonight’s episode, Nicola offered him £10,000 to complete it. Surely this was something he couldn’t refuse!
Ravi agreed on the condition that she secured him an alternative vehicle to use, as he didn’t need the blame pinning onto him.
Nic acquired a van from the garage, though was dealt a shocking blow when Ravi returned and said that, after much consideration, no amount of money would be enough to see him potentially behind bars.
She desperately tried to blackmail him, saying that she’d dob him in for drug dealing.
Nic assured that everyone knew of his dark past, so therefore didn’t have a leg to stand on.

As their row erupted, Teddy arrived and overheard everything.
