Emmerdale‘s Ruby Miligan makes a very risky move next week as she exposes one of Joe Tate’s many secrets.

In a tense scene, Charity tells Ruby: “You have no idea what we’ve been going through over this. Noah’s not been the same since. So please, Ruby, if you know something, I’m begging you. You have to tell us.
“I am convinced that Joe is involved somehow, but I just don’t have the proof.”

Ruby is reluctant to reveal what she knows, still conscious of the fragile truce that was called between her family and Joe.
As Joe is aware that Ruby and Caleb were involved in covering up Anthony Fox’s death, he could cause big trouble for the couple if they cross him.

In the end, Ruby throws caution to the wind by warning Charity: “If I tell you this, Joe can never find out it came from me. No-one can.
“And whatever you do next, whatever you do to him, that lies firmly on your shoulders.
“He did it. He spiked Noah…”
The revelation makes Charity one of the nine suspects when Joe is targeted by a vengeful enemy during Lydia’s birthday party at Home Farm next week.
How far would Charity go to get her revenge? And is Noah also capable of something sinister once Charity tells him what Joe did?
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Wednesday 7 May on ITV1 and ITVX.
