Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Monday’s (May 5) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm.

After months of quarrelling, Darren and Nancy Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson and Jessica Fox) shared a passionate kiss.

Darren, as viewers know, was accused of sleeping with Kat Omari (Sonia Ibrahim) earlier this year after Frankie (Isabelle Smith) caught them in bed together.

Kat had orchestrated the situation after Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) urged her to assist him in isolating and grooming Frankie.

Darren has professed his innocence repeatedly but Frankie refuses to believe him – as does Nancy, who has asked him to move out.

Refusing to abandon his family at their time of need, Darren has decided to stay put, which has led to conflict and quarrelling aplenty between he and Nancy.

Monday’s edition of the soap saw the tension between the former couple spiral out of control, with Jack (Jimmy McKenna) urging them to sort out their differences.

Nancy claimed she had a date, much to the horror of Darren, who jumped to the wrong conclusion and attacked mate Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) after he witnessed them chatting.

Determined to win back Nancy’s affection, Darren wrote down his feelings in a heartfelt note, which prompted Nancy to kiss him.

Is there hope for Dancy after all?

You’ll just have to wait and see but there is definitely more drama to come, with Nancy set to drop a bombshell in subsequent scenes.
