4. Coronation Street’s Brody twist confirmed
ITV
Troublesome teen Brody Michaelis is released from the Secure Training Centre (STC) in Corrie next week, just in time for a big twist to unfold.
Show bosses have confirmed the recent tabloid rumour suggesting that Brody could be revealed as Kit’s biological son, rather than Mick’s, in upcoming scenes.
Jacob Roberts, who plays Kit, told us this week: “Kit would know that Brody has just come out of the STC and I don’t think you can change a lad – the damage has already been done. He thinks Mick is Brody’s dad and Kit has got nothing to do with this kid.
“It would come as a shock to Kit and he’d certainly be upset or angry that Lou never told him he had a child. He’s not ready for a kid, we’ve seen that he’s not ready for a baby, so how can he be ready for a 16-year-old lad who’s already learnt from his dad Mick?”
