1. Teddy reveals a plan

As Nicola battles with her dark past, Teddy demands answers from his ex-wife about the circumstances surrounding Shireen’s death.

Afterwards, the Mitchell man declares that Harry must hear the truth about his late girlfriend, but Nicola contends that any information will send their son into a spiral. As a result, Teddy agrees to keep schtum for his family.

Before long, Barney realises that there is tension between his parents, and he unknowingly gives his mum some food for thought.

Later, Teddy orders Nicola to stop what she is doing as he has come up with a plan. What does Teddy have on his mind?

2. Amy uncovers the truth

It hasn’t been that long since Joel landed on the Square, but he has already made good pals with the local youths. However, Ravi is less than impressed when the teenager hangs out with his daughter at No 41.

Thereafter, Priya hears news from Jack that the police have dropped Avani’s complaint about her traumatic strip search. Gutted, Priya decides to withhold the information from her daughter in case it causes her distress.

In fact, the protective mum feels so concerned that she even asks Amy to keep the knowledge to herself. This doesn’t go to plan though, as the truth is revealed once Amy and Avani make amends with each other.

Meanwhile, Priya heads to the police station to lodge another complaint, but her efforts end in disaster when Callum is forced to step in when her temper takes over.

At home, Avani storms out of the house after lashing out at her relatives for keeping secrets.

3. Harry wins a date

With romance on his mind, Harry offers Kojo some tips about dating, before trying his own luck with Gina.

Later in the week, Harry sidles up to his new colleague for a second time and asks him to put in a good word with Gina.

At first, the eldest Knight sister is unimpressed with Harry’s efforts, but the mechanic eventually secures a date. Is this the start of a new, exciting romance on the Square?

4. Avani hosts a gathering

Following their family drama, Priya and Ravi invite Avani to join them for a takeaway night at No 41. Although, the evening takes an entirely different turn when Priya allows Avani’s friends to come over instead.

With Priya and Ravi out the house, Amy, Denzel and Nugget arrive, before Joel and Tommy turn up with a bottle of vodka to hand.

Is there more trouble ahead for Avani?

5. Nicola faces an ambush

Armed with a plan, Teddy puts a stop to building work at the Dartford site while he and Nicola strike a deal with Benji.

Following the negotiations, Nicola makes the decision to sell Harry’s Barn to pay her accomplice. However, Teddy soon comes up with a different solution.

Afterwards, Nicola feels stunned at the way her partner has gone about things. As the consequences play out, both Nicola and Teddy are forced to deal with an incredibly difficult situation.

Later, Nicola is met by a mysterious visitor while alone at the bar.

As the mum-of-two faces a reckoning, is this the moment that her life changes forever?

6. Priya sees red

At Harry’s Barn, Ravi and Priya share quality time together over a round of drinks. However, their boozy night takes a turn when Callum and his police colleagues turn up at the bar.

Still upset for her daughter, Priya lashes out at the group before Ravi is forced to step in and cool tensions down.

Meanwhile, at No 41, Tommy feels embarrassed when the other boys poke fun at his lack of experience with girls. Afterwards, Joel dishes out some troubling advice to his impressionable friend.

Will Joel lead Tommy astray?

7. Johnny is lovestruck

Besotted, Johnny confesses to Elaine that he would like to make things serious with Felix.

Not long afterwards, the lawyer acts on his feelings and asks his crush to go on a date with him. Unfortunately, Felix rejects the offer on the basis that he has another date planned that night.

The next day, Johnny is chuffed to hear that Felix’s evening didn’t go to plan, and the two men agree to share a movie afternoon together.

During their cosy film session, Johnny builds himself up to ask Felix whether he would want to give things a shot as a couple. His timing falls short though, as Elaine, Linda, Gina and Anna burst into the room before he can get his words out.

As Johnny resolves to spill his true feelings, how will Felix respond to his admirer?

8. Joel splashes cash

The day after her boozy night out, Priya wakes up feeling worse for wear. Hungover, the mum-of-two feels Avani’s wrath yet again, when the teenager rails at her for confronting Callum at the bar.

Having heard about the furore, Suki advises Priya to take ownership of her actions, which leads the waitress to apologise to Callum. It’s not only Suki that offers her tuppence though, as Priya feels equally inspired by Yolande’s parenting advice.

Meanwhile, Avani meets up with Declan, a local drug dealer. In the café, Declan refuses to hand over marijuana for free, but Joel susses out the situation and pays for the drugs on Avani’s behalf.

What will Avani make of Joel’s intervention?

9. Anna reaches out

From Cindy’s attack to job rivalry, Anna and Gina have had their fair share of spats recently. Anna, however, decides that she wants to put the past to one side and mend her sisterly relationship once and for all.

That said, Anna heads to The Albert for a word with her sibling.

Will she find the resolution that she hopes for?

10. Barney makes a stand

Following the illegal exchange at the café, Joel searches for Avani in the hope that they will organise a meet-up to share the drugs.

Next, Avani and Barney enjoy each other’s company at No 1, before Joel and Tommy turn up at the door.

Barney is gutted that his friend invited the two rowdy boys, and his day worsens when Joel makes an inappropriate remark about Avani while she is absent from the room.

Infuriated, Barney stands up for his close pal, but Joel makes the Mitchell boy out to be the villain once Avani returns. Believing that Barney is to blame for the tension, Avani storms out and leaves the group on their own.

Later in the day, Avani and Joel smoke weed together, and Joel uses the opportunity to make a move.
