The Young and the Restless is off to a great start in the race for the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, scoring multiple nominations as the first wave of categories was revealed. All categories have been revealed, along with all nominees. We’re only including the categories that Y&R is in the running for!

Entertainment Tonight and Extra unveiled the nominees for Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Daytime Drama Series, and Y&R dominated the Lead Actress category.

In the Lead Actor category, Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) received a nod for his emotional and powerful performances on Y&R. He’s joined by actors from Days of Our Lives and General Hospital, including Eric Martsolf, Greg Rikaart, Paul Telfer, and Dominic Zamprogna.

Y&R was also one of just three daytime dramas to be nominated for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series, alongside General Hospital and Days of Our Lives.

The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony is set to take place on October 17 in Pasadena.
