Loose Cannon

On the Friday, August 8, episode of General Hospital, spoilers tease that Carly (Laura Wright) pitches an idea to Brennan (Chris McKenna). He won’t be happy when Anna (Finola Hughes) interrupts and tells them, “We have some unfinished business.” Is she talking to Carly — or to Brennan, the man who had her briefly kidnapped to stop her from speaking with Carly?

Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) run into each other at the mayor’s office. “Why the mystery? What does she want to see us for?” Lulu asks Dante. Whatever Laura (Genie Francis) has to say, it may not sit well with them — could her news be what leaves both Lulu and Dante so livid?

Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) share a quiet moment as he updates her on everything that has been happening in his life. She was well aware of everything Drew (Cameron Mathison) was doing to make his and Portia’s (Brook Kerr) lives miserable. “It wouldn’t have happened at all if it weren’t for you,” he tells his ex-wife.

Lining Up Allies

Drew seeks out Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He knows she’s currently his strongest connection to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), who has been staying at Elizabeth’s home ever since their wedding fiasco. “Do you really think that Willow is better off now?” he asks, putting the head nurse on the hot seat. What will she say to Drew?

Anna gives her two cents to Jason (Steve Burton), but she isn’t the only one. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) appears to be on edge as she discusses her granddaughter Scout (Cosette Abinante) with her former son-in-law. “Isn’t this supposed to be about what Scout needs?” Alexis asks Jason. What, though, can Jason do or say about what is happening with his niece?

Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) defies orders as she lounges by the pool in her hat and bathing suit. Someone has been sent to retrieve her, but clearly has no idea who they’re dealing with. “You can tell him I’m on strike,” she tells the unseen lackey.
