Casualty Character Tier List 2025: Ranking the Stars of Holby’s Emergency Department

Hey everyone! Tommy Bo here from Movie Rewind, and welcome to my first video of 2025! After a fantastic festive season, I’m back with an updated Casualty character tier ranking, and trust me, it’s long overdue. The cast has evolved significantly since my last ranking two years ago, so it’s high time to take another look at the current characters. This ranking is, of course, based on my personal opinions, and while I try to keep it fair, I’m certainly biased as a longtime Casualty fan. We’ll be considering their likeability, storylines, and overall character development to determine where they land.  Where is the original cast of Casualty now? | The Sun

S-Tier: The Legends of Holby

1. Dylan Kog (William Beck)
Dylan Kog is not just one of my favorite Casualty characters—he’s my all-time favorite. Since joining in 2011, Dylan has proven himself to be a complex, deeply human character. His battle with alcoholism, coupled with his incredible sense of humor, makes him both compelling and relatable. William Beck’s portrayal has been nothing short of flawless, earning him an iconic status on the show. Dylan’s relationships, especially with his new love interest, nurse Sophia, add to his depth. He’s a character who truly resonates with fans, and I hope he stays in the show for years to come.

A-Tier: Strong Performers and Fan Favourites

2. Stevie Nash (Elena Lawless)
When Stevie first arrived, I wasn’t sold on her, but over time, she’s become one of my favorites. Elena Lawless brings a tough but vulnerable side to Stevie, making her one of the most well-rounded characters. Her relationship with Faith, her affair with Siobhan’s husband, and her emotional struggles give Stevie a complexity that I’ve come to appreciate. She’s certainly on the way to becoming an iconic character, and I’m excited to see more of her development.

3. Jan Jennings (Diana Bosworth)
Jan has quickly become one of the standout characters, and for good reason. Diana Bosworth portrays Jan with an incredible balance of strength and compassion. Her storyline involving assisted dying and her care for the paramedics around her is both powerful and relatable. Jan has become a cornerstone of Holby’s paramedic team, and it’s great to see a strong female character leading the charge.

4. Jodie White (Anna Chell)
Jodie is a fantastic character, and Anna Chell’s performance is a big reason why. Jodie is confident, adventurous, and has a lot of emotional depth. Her storyline with her father, consultant Max, was a highlight, and the intense moments where she had to deal with an unexploded bomb proved that Jodie is a force to be reckoned with. I’m excited to see where her journey goes from here.  Where the original cast of Casualty are now - from Harry Potter and Home Alone to a tragic death - YorkshireLive

B-Tier: Solid and Likable Characters

5. Siobhan McKenzie (Main Hill)
Siobhan has quickly earned her place as a solid and reliable character. As the first clinical lead at Holby ED, she’s breaking new ground. Her storyline with her unfaithful husband is intriguing, and I’m curious to see how it develops. Siobhan may not yet have the long history of other characters, but I’m excited to see where she goes, and Main Hill’s performance has been strong.

6. Faith Kadigan (Kirsty Mitchell)
Faith has had her ups and downs, and I’ve always had a soft spot for her. The storyline exploring her addiction to painkillers was a standout, and the way Casualty handled it with nuance over time was fantastic. Faith is deeply likable, grounded, and relatable, and I look forward to seeing more of her journey.

7. Nicole Piper (April Pearson)
Nicole was a standout character from the moment she joined. Her ability to get her hands dirty and dive into situations headfirst made her a fan favorite. Her struggles as a surrogate mother and her evolving relationship with the rest of the team have added real emotional depth to her character. I’m excited to see what comes next for Nicole.

C-Tier: Characters with Potential, but Room for Growth

8. Cam MWI (Barney Walsh)
Cam has evolved significantly from the awkward newcomer to someone more interesting and emotionally layered. His backstory involving abuse by a mentor is powerful, and I think there’s a lot of room for him to grow. While he’s not yet a favorite, I see great potential in him, and his future in Casualty looks promising.

9. Rash Massim (Neeraj Mohan)
Rash has been a part of Casualty for quite a while, but at times, he feels a bit overlooked. His storyline dealing with his father’s dementia and attempted suicide was compelling, and Neeraj Mohan’s performance during those episodes was exceptional. However, Rash hasn’t been given enough to do lately, and as a result, his character doesn’t stand out as much as it could. Hopefully, 2025 will bring more depth to Rash.  Create a Casualty Characters (Welcome to the Warzone - present) Tier List - TierMaker

D-Tier: Characters That Haven’t Quite Made Their Mark

10. Teddy Gowan (Luke Bailey)
Teddy’s storyline involving male rape was a bold choice, and while it was handled well, his character still feels like it’s finding its place. His awkward dynamic with Jodie didn’t quite hit for me, and I think there’s room for more development. I’m not fully sold on him yet, but his storyline has been important for raising awareness about a difficult topic.

11. Indie Jankowski (Naomi Wakszlak)
Indie’s still in the early stages of her Casualty journey, and while I like her energy, it’s hard to rank her higher with just one episode under her belt. She’s been introduced with promise, especially her budding relationship with Nicole, but it’s too early to tell if she’ll grow into a more prominent character. For now, I’m placing her in the D tier.

F-Tier: Characters That Haven’t Resonated

12. TCK Hussein (Sam Retford)
TCK is just too unlikable for me. His storylines have left me feeling disconnected, especially with his treatment of Rash during his mental health struggles. I get that characters need flaws, but TCK’s arrogance and selfishness don’t make him someone I’m invested in. Perhaps with more development, he could change, but for now, he’s at the bottom of the tier list.

13. Sophia Peters (Bethany Wilkins)
Sophia’s character has been a bit difficult to figure out. I enjoy her awkward relationship with Dylan, but sometimes she comes across as unlikable, and her role in the show hasn’t felt fully developed. I’m hoping she gets a more fleshed-out storyline, but for now, she’s in the F-tier.

Conclusion:
So that’s my updated Casualty character tier list! It’s always hard to rank characters, especially on a show like Casualty where the cast is constantly evolving. However, I think this list reflects where I stand with the current roster. What do you think? Agree with my rankings or totally disagree? Let me know in the comments below! I love hearing your opinions and seeing where we all stand on the characters that make Casualty such a compelling show.
