Sarah’s plans to start a family escalate next week as she prepares for her appointment at a fertility clinic. Worried her family will judge her choices, Sarah keeps it secret from her loved ones.
But there is one small problem: IVF comes at a big cost. Needing some extra cash to pay for going private, Sarah manipulates her granddad Cain Dingle into giving her an advance on her wages and he’s none the wiser…
At the clinic, the doctor raises her concerns about Sarah’s determination to become a mother in light of her serious medical history.
Despite the doctor’s reservations, Sarah’s mind is made up – she wants a baby no matter what. But she’s desperate to keep it secret from her family.

“Sarah is bursting with excitement at the thought of being a mum,” our insider continues. “But Dr Knapp has troubling news – she’s found inflammation in Sarah’s cervix. This could be the awful news she has cancer again.”
After her appointment, Sarah can do nothing but fear the worst. Although in the past she’s been able to find comfort in Jacob Gallagher or confide her private thoughts with Vanessa Woodfield, this time she can’t bear to face the truth and suffers alone in her nightmare.
Unable to cope, Sarah eventually tries to speak to Charity and Cain, but they’re both too busy to give her the time of day. With her grandparents distracted by Nate Robinson’s disappearance, Sarah heads to her next appointment alone.
“This is a life-changing moment and Sarah has nobody,” our source adds. “The biopsy results are here and Sarah’s forced to confront her fate with no support. Will it be good news or the cancer she fears?”
