SHOCKING NEWS!! EastEnders star appears to rule out major death ahead of explosion

EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has seemingly confirmed that her character,

Ruby Allen, will survive the dramatic explosion at The Vic.

The BBC soap is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary, with the centrepiece of the

week’s action being a dramatic explosion – in which one character will tragically lose their life – at the iconic pub.

There had been rumours that the love triangle between Ruby, Stacey Slater and Martin Fowler could end in tragic fashion with one character losing their life, with Lytton’s impending departure seemingly lining up with the speculation.

The star, who returned to the soap in November following a three-year absence, quashed the rumours during an appearance on Morning Live, with the actor confirming that the storyline involving Ruby would continue past this week.

“It’s really hard for me to say without giving the whole game away,” she said. “I can’t really say too much but we’ve got some lovely stuff coming up. It’s great, and I love working with Lacey [Turner] and James [Bye]. I couldn’t ask for better partnerships in that sense – I’m really fortunate.”

Whilst the storyline involving Ruby, Martin and Stacey looks set to continue, another love triangle has been brewing in Walford as Denise Fox was torn between her affection for both Jack Branning and Ravi Gulati, with the resolution to be determined by fans in an interactive storyline.

“It’s a blessing,” said Diane Parish – who has played Denise since 2006 – of her involvement in the story. “I’ve been blessed throughout my time in EastEnders, particularly in the last few years. I think Chris Clenshaw understands Denise better than anybody, and he’s gifted me with the most exciting two years of my time on the show to date.”

“There’s this natural warmth between them, even though they’re not together right now,” added Scott Maslen, who plays Jack. “I don’t think Jack believes this relationship is past the point of no return – yet! He wants to put his family back together.”
