Big changes are on the horizon for Young and the Restless as Claire’s world is turned upside down. Meanwhile, Phyllis has big plans. She meets with her son, Daniel, and hints at a major business deal with Cane. Phyllis reveals that Cane is planning a takeover of Chancellor, Newman, and Jabot — and she wants to be a part of it. Daniel is immediately skeptical, warning his mother that Cane’s history makes this partnership a risky move. But Phyllis is confident this is her chance to regain power and prove everyone wrong. Back in the Newman household, Nate has his hands full with his own issues. He visits Victoria and Claire after the emotional memorial for Cole. Victoria is especially worried about Claire, who is still processing the grief. But Victoria’s own troubles aren’t far behind — she fears for Claire, knowing how much her father’s battle with Kyle has taken a toll.

Nate tries to offer support, but Victoria confesses that the situation between Claire and Victor is only getting worse. She’s not sure how much longer they can handle the pressure. Meanwhile, Nate shares news about his own family: the memorial for his brother Damian is set for tomorrow.
